Motorquip supplies and fits car stereos at our Newton Abbot workshop in Devon. Upgrade to features such as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, DAB radio, Bluetooth and navigation, depending on your vehicle and chosen equipment.
We order stereos for installation and keep a small selection for demonstrations. Our demonstration car and van can help you compare different options. Please contact us before visiting.
We supply established brands including Pioneer, Kenwood, Sony, Alpine and JVC. If the stereo you want is not listed, please ask.
Most vehicles need additional parts: a fascia panel, wiring adapters, steering-wheel-control interfaces or adapters for the original amplifier, USB connection, reversing camera and aerial. We check what your vehicle needs and which functions can be retained.
We occasionally fit customer-supplied stereos, subject to agreement before booking. These jobs do not include a warranty on installation parts or labour, or a demonstration. A removal charge applies if the stereo needs to come out for warranty work.
We do not fit customer-supplied fitting parts or off-brand head units. Please speak to us before buying equipment for us to install.
We do not repair radios, but we can remove a stereo for you to send away for repair and refit it when it returns. A charge applies; contact us for a quote.

Navigation, music, calls and messages through a compatible vehicle display.
CarPlay brings compatible iPhone apps to your car’s display, giving access to supported navigation, music, calls and messages through suitable vehicle controls.
We supply and fit upgrades for compatible cars and vans. Depending on the vehicle, we can replace the stereo or add an interface to the original system.
Android Auto connects a compatible Android phone to the vehicle display, with access to supported navigation, music, calling and messaging apps.
Available apps, controls and wired or wireless connection options depend on the phone, vehicle and chosen equipment. We check compatibility before recommending an upgrade.
We can fit an aftermarket head unit with the appropriate fitting kit and adapters. Single-DIN, double-DIN and floating-screen options are available where suitable. The examples above include different features, so check the individual product details.
Equipment we supply and fit includes a demonstration at handover. For occasional customer-supplied installations, the conditions explained in our fitting information apply; please speak to us before buying.
