ABOUT MOTORQUIP
Local people. Specialist know-how.
A family-run business in Newton Abbot, bringing together the people, advice and fitting skills behind your next vehicle upgrade.
A FAMILY BUSINESS, MOVING FORWARD
More than 50 years of experience. One team.
Our team brings more than 50 years of combined experience in the motor trade. Theo took over the running of Motorquip from his father, Alan, in 2019, continuing a family business built around personal advice and practical vehicle upgrades.
Today, our fitters work across most of the products we offer, while each brings their own specialist knowledge. From a straightforward stereo replacement to a complete camper electrical installation, we help you choose equipment that suits your vehicle and the way you use it.

ALL YOUR UPGRADES, TOGETHER
One Motorquip. Every specialist service.
Our South Devon Towbars, South Devon Car Audio, South Devon Vehicle Installations and South Devon Vehicle Security services are all part of Motorquip. Bringing them together makes it easier to plan several improvements in one enquiry.
We supply and fit stereos, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, speakers, amplifiers, DSPs and subwoofers. Our work also includes towbars, cameras, parking aids, dash cams, trackers, alarms, additional locks and vehicle lighting.
For campervans, motorhomes and commercial vehicles, we install solar panels, leisure batteries, charging systems, inverters, mains hook-ups, lighting and heating, with equipment specified around the job it needs to do.
