BUILD A BETTER SYSTEM

A complete system, built around your trips.

A weekend camper, a touring motorhome and a van used for work need different power systems. Tell us what you want to run, how long you stay parked, how often you drive and whether you use campsite electric hook-up. We plan storage and charging together.

We install leisure and lithium batteries, DC-DC and mains chargers, inverters, MultiPlus systems, solar, protected 12V and 230V circuits, monitoring, lighting and heating. An individual upgrade can be worthwhile; sometimes several parts need changing to work correctly together.

YOUR QUESTIONS

Good to know.

Can you upgrade an existing system?

Yes, subject to inspecting the equipment, wiring, charging and available space. We explain which parts can remain and which need changing.

Can I switch to lithium?

Often, but it is a system decision. Charger settings, battery-management limits, protection, temperature and inverter demand must suit the chosen battery.

How long can I stay away from hook-up?

It depends on consumption, usable battery capacity, journeys and solar conditions. We work from your appliance list and travel pattern rather than promise a fixed runtime.

Can I build in stages?

Yes, where the layout and equipment allow. Agree the end goal early so cable routes, protection and installation space can accommodate later work.

What warranty is included?

SDVI installation labour has a five-year warranty. Equipment warranties are separate and model-specific. Supplied-and-fitted Autoterm heaters have a three-year parts and labour warranty; the written quote confirms your cover.
