ETON PA 4 Compact 4-Channel Amplifier

The ETON PA 4 is a compact four-channel amplifier with different power outputs for its two channel pairs. Channels 1 and 2 provide 2 × 45 W RMS at 4 ohms; channels 3 and 4 provide 2 × 80 W at 4 ohms. The higher-power pair can also deliver 2 × 140 W at 2 ohms.

The 128 × 100 × 45 mm aluminium housing contains adjustable high-pass and low-pass filters covering 50 Hz–5 kHz. Removable connectors, adjustable mounting feet and a removable cover help when planning a concealed installation. There is no built-in DSP.

It can power two pairs of suitable speakers. Alternatively, channels 3 and 4 can be bridged for 1 × 280 W RMS into 4 ohms, alongside the two 45 W channels. Channels 1 and 2 cannot be bridged and do not support a 2-ohm speaker load. The channel layout is selected to suit the speakers and the intended system.

Connecting it to your vehicle

RCA and high-level inputs allow connection to suitable aftermarket stereos or factory speaker signals. Adjustable high-level voltage and input impedance help match the source, and signal/DC detection can switch the amplifier on automatically. These features do not make it a universal plug-and-play fit: a vehicle-specific interface or wiring adaptor may still be required.
