ETON PA 2 Compact 2-Channel Amplifier

The ETON PA 2 adds a separate amplifier to a pair of speakers without needing a large enclosure. It measures 110 × 85 × 45 mm and produces 2 × 85 W RMS at 4 ohms or 2 × 140 W at 2 ohms. It can also be bridged to provide 1 × 285 W RMS into a suitable 4-ohm load.

Its adjustable high-pass and low-pass filters both cover 25–250 Hz at 12 dB per octave. The aluminium case, removable connectors and adjustable feet give the installer useful mounting options. There is no built-in DSP, so this is a straightforward power upgrade rather than a digital sound-processing system.

A typical use is powering front speakers, or a compatible passive subwoofer when the amplifier is bridged. Speaker power handling, crossover settings and impedance still need to be matched to the chosen arrangement.

Connecting it to your vehicle

RCA and high-level inputs allow connection to suitable aftermarket stereos or factory speaker signals. Adjustable high-level voltage and input impedance help match the source, and signal/DC detection can switch the amplifier on automatically. These features do not make it a universal plug-and-play fit: a vehicle-specific interface or wiring adaptor may still be required.
