ETON PA 1 Compact Monoblock Amplifier

The ETON PA 1 is a compact mono amplifier for a passive subwoofer. Its 128 × 100 × 45 mm aluminium housing makes it worth considering when a larger amplifier would take up too much room. It delivers 200 W RMS into 4 ohms, 340 W into 2 ohms or 480 W into 1 ohm; the actual output depends on the connected subwoofer load.

A 30 Hz subsonic filter and adjustable 25–250 Hz low-pass filter help set the bass range. The low-pass slope can be set to 12 or 24 dB per octave. A wired level remote is included, while removable connectors and adjustable mounting feet help with installation access.

Choose the PA 1 when you want a dedicated bass amplifier. It is a monoblock subwoofer amplifier, so it is not a substitute for a two- or four-channel amplifier driving full-range door speakers.

Connecting it to your vehicle

RCA and high-level inputs allow connection to suitable aftermarket stereos or factory speaker signals. Adjustable high-level voltage and input impedance help match the source, and signal/DC detection can switch the amplifier on automatically. These features do not make it a universal plug-and-play fit: a vehicle-specific interface or wiring adaptor may still be required.
