Visual parking-sensor displays

A compatible display adds a visual indication of nearby obstacles alongside the audible alerts. Options are available for front and rear sensors. We’ll explain the display, alert zones and suitable mounting positions for your chosen system.

How your sensors activate

Rear sensors normally activate when you select reverse. If you tow, we can discuss a suitable way to switch the rear sensors off while a trailer is attached. Front sensors can use a manual dashboard switch or speed-based activation where compatible; speed control costs extra.

We do not normally recommend leaving front sensors active whenever the ignition is on, as this can cause unwanted alerts while driving. We’ll explain the controls available for your vehicle and demonstrate the fitted system at handover.
