A MINI retrofit to check against your car
Our BMW MINI reversing camera retrofit is an existing supplied-and-fitted option at our Newton Abbot workshop. The listing describes automatic activation when reverse is selected, a 130° viewing angle, 1080p camera image and dynamic steering guidelines, with integration into a compatible original screen.
The catalogue does not give a MINI model or year range for this kit. We therefore check your registration, model, year and installed infotainment system before confirming it. A MINI badge alone is not enough to establish compatibility, and the listed features should be confirmed for your exact installation.
Keep the original screen or add another display
If a suitable original-screen connection is available, the camera image can use that display. If it is not, a 5-inch windscreen-mounted monitor provides a separate viewing route for a compatible aftermarket camera while retaining the factory system. The monitor uses a suction mount and can take power from a suitable 12V ignition or reversing feed.
What we check before fitting
- The original display and available camera connection.
- The rear camera mounting position and wiring route.
- Which parking-sensor and moving-guideline features the proposed kit supports.
Use the reversing-camera enquiry option with your registration and the requested stereo and rear-of-vehicle pictures. We will confirm the equipment and complete installation quote before booking.
